Bethany Lee
Bethany Lee lives and writes in Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley and draws inspiration from her work as a hospice harpist and choral accompanist and from a life filled with the practice of paying attention. On any given day, you might find her running to a rehearsal, writing on her patio at the edge of the woods, or catching up with her young adult daughters in a late-night conversation.
Her poetry collection, The Breath Between, was released from Fernwood Press in May 2019. Her latest work in progress is a memoir of the sabbatical year her family spent at sea. You can look for it and her second book of poetry, Etude for Belonging, late in 2020.
She manages all this thanks to a consistently casual attitude toward housekeeping and her extraordinarily supportive partner, Bryan.
