Simon Paul Wilson
Simon Paul Wilson is an English man who traveled to Asia and found a second home. He is also a writer of what he likes to call quirky fiction and wasabi punk.
Heavily influenced by his time in China and Thailand, Simon's writing usually features strong, quirky, Asian female protagonists, surreal situations, and ghosts with very long hair. He also likes to include Asian food somewhere in the stories he writes. Some readers have commented they feel hungry while reading his books.
Now back in England, Simon has finally found time to finish his latest novel, GhostCityGirl.
GCG, as he calls it for short, is the first in a planned trilogy. “GhostCityGirl' is a mash-up of some of my favourite things. I love dystopias and Asian horror. I’m also a fan of cyberpunk and Japanese anime. I put those elements together, added a dash of magical realism, a dollop of surrealism, and a sprinkling of humour to create something I am very proud of.”
Simon feels that this book would appeal to lovers of dystopian fiction, Japanese horror, and fans of anime. He also feels cosplayers would love this book and hopes to see someone dressed as a nil-by-mouth in the near future.
When not writing, Simon listens to post and prog rock at a very loud volume. He also likes to play air-guitar. He thought you may like to know that.
